My mission is to approach each patient with compassion, kindness, technical expertise and honesty.
The aesthetic and functional oculoplastic surgery and medicine that I practice requires me to establish and maintain close and trusting relationships with my patients. Only then can we (together) customize each surgery and treatment, address specific concerns, set realistic goals and achieve natural and lasting results. Honesty and integrity are key: this means a frank discussion of what we can accomplish and what we can't, and a promise to make every effort to avoid letting my patients look "surgical" or "overdone." Less is often more.
I have been exceedingly fortunate to have trained with some of the top surgeons in the world: Bob Goldberg, Simon Madorsky, Dan Rootman, Jon Hoenig and Kami Parsa. I thank them for teaching me enduring lessons about scientific inquiry, teaching and mentorship, giving back to the community, "five-star" patient care and impeccable surgical technique.
